About Freedom Standard
Arrive in a border town and everyone seems to know what you need. A taxi, perhaps? A hotel? Local knowledge is suddenly rather valuable. So is being able to tell a helpful introduction from an expensive detour.
Companies have their own version of this arrival. The cast includes lawyers, tax advisers, corporate directors and employers of record. There are offices to find, bank accounts to open and endless compliance questions.
We believe freedom of movement is only the beginning. The freedom to act needs looking after, too. Relying on others should not mean losing your say. You need room to keep what works and change what no longer does. Changing one part should not mean starting all over again.
Freedom Standard is a magazine about these practical realities. We interview country managers, visit trade fairs and explore how companies organise themselves. We publish opinions, too. Sometimes, a photograph and a good story are enough.
